The task
A research and elaboration project for students of Tourism and Travel Agencies

It involves

1. Use of English in communication throughout the activity.
2. Use of Information and Communication Technologies.
3. Adequate management of information sources.
4. Personal commitment and social skills for team work.

The final product: A tour planning

Contents:

1. All relevant aspects: dates, cost and rates, means of transport, accommodation, catering, necessary equipment, leisure activities, trips and visits...
2. A day-by-day schedule of the tour with a coherent timetable for each day.

Requirements:

1. Each four-member team in the class group will elaborate one tour planning.
2. The planning must be true and contain real prices, real places, transport, feasible timetables...
3. Duration: between one and two weeks.
4. Destination: from Spain to an English speaking country
5. Each team will show their planning to the class by means of a PowerPoint presentation. Then all members of the class will vote for the project they consider the best.
